I’m a journalist and educator with a knack for poking holes in bad arguments and explaining why they matter. By day, I teach English and History to students of all levels (and try to make comma splices fun). By night, I write sharp takes, local news, and cultural commentary for a range of publications. I’ve been a college writing tutor, a TA, and now an after-school teacher—and I bring that same clarity and curiosity to my reporting. My work has earned honors from the LA Press Club and the California College Media Association. Whether I’m helping students find their voice or holding the powerful to account, I believe in asking good questions, listening hard, and never underestimating the power of a well-placed semicolon.
